ABOUT THE BOOK
Relationships are tested in this highly anticipated sequel to ‘Blind Date’.
Jenny is back in this romantic comedy, and this time she has her man. Life is wonderful as she switches her sex dreams for the real thing with her hunk, Zack. As well as feeling loved up, she must also console her recently-single best friend, Sarah. Those much-loved blind dates make a welcome return as Jenny gets the sweet taste for vengeance.
After a girly holiday to Rome, and a somewhat unexpected vegan experience, Zack whisks Jenny abroad for a romantic holiday of their own. However, jolly holidays aren’t on the menu when faced with a twenty-something stunner in the next villa.
Holidays take the centre stage for this sequel, where relationships are put to the test, at home and abroad.
Also includes a bonus chapter.
The wise-crackin’ Jenny is back in book 2 of the Blind Date series with her new beau, Zack, her best friend Sarah, and her crazy cat Bing.
Jenny and Zack are extremely happy meeting the parents and making new plans. In fact, they are taking a holiday in Crete with Zack’s parents and family friends including Chloe, the twenty-something young nubile beauty who seems a bit chummy with Zack. Of course, Jenny’s insecurities start to eat at her and her regular comical self becomes riddled with doubts. After all, her best friend, Sarah, just threw her for a loop by revealing a secret right before Jenny left on vacation.
I love Jenny and Zack’s relationship which is comfortable and filled with mutual respect. Thank goodness Jenny is no longer on the dating scene with those cringe-worthy dates, but she has convinced Sarah, as payback, to get out there after her douche of a fiance dumped her. Needless to say, poor Sarah has some awkward and embarrassing first dates which are hilarious. As for my favorite character, it would have to be Zack who is very thoughtful and would do anything for Jenny. His parents are awesome as well.
Overall, this is a fun and uplifting sequel to book 1 which follows Jenny’s happy relationship with Zack and her support for Sarah’s new life. A funny and fast-paced summer read.
Thank you to Ms. Ioanna for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.
