MY REVIEW

Jess believes opposites attract, but her ex-boyfriend Collin dumps her for being boring. She’s happy to stay at home and cook with her two cats. So instead of sitting home moping, she goes off on an adventure to Vermont with her loyal friend Molly. Little did Jess know she would literally meet her Prince Charming.

Prince Jamison “Jamie” Archibald Henry MontNaughton the Second of Atalonia came to America to complete his father’s bucket list and find himself before his coronation as King of Atalonia, but he finds a feisty woman with green hair who gets under his skin.

I guess this story wasn’t what I expected though I should have guessed by the cover. It’s a sweet unrealistic fairytale about two individuals who come from totally different backgrounds and fall in love while trying to pretend to be other people. There are funny and sweet moments as well as frustrating moments when I just wanted to shake Jess and her immature attitude, but overall it was a fun read. The moral of the story is to not be afraid of being yourself.

I recommend this light and fun Disney-like fairytale story to be read over the holidays.
