MY REVIEW
She wasn’t interested in a serious relationship, and she didn’t have the bandwidth in her life for a time-consuming fling. Work was her priority.
Natalie was getting over a messy divorce and thought she just wanted a one-night stand, but that same night she came home to a robbery and Rome was there for her when she needed someone. So they agreed on an “extended hookup with benefits” until her burglar alarm was installed. Why didn’t she want that day to happen anytime soon?
No. It wasn’t his place to determine what she needed. That part of his life, protecting others and advising them on how to protect themselves, was over. She shouldn’t be in the house alone. That was why he stayed.
When Rome took Natalie home that night she found her house had been broken into and her dog was missing. He stayed with her because of the shock of being robbed. Or was it something more?
Natalie and Rome’s sexy and confident personalities work well together and when their vulnerabilities get the best of them, they stumble but work it out.
Book 2 of the Breakup Bash series can be read as a standalone. It is a sensual and scintillating novel with two strong and lonely people trying to mend and get on with their lives. A fun and sexy read!
