MY REVIEW
I heard the soft slide of a window frame and glanced at the clock. He was early. I sucked in air even as I shivered in the slight breeze. Time for action.
What’s a girl to do? She slept with the wrong man…literally. Expecting a sexy one-on-one masquerade night with a fellow police officer, Lexanne hooks up with a real cat burglar. The one her unit was trying to catch.
The opening scene is hot and steamy and drew me in immediately. It was interesting how the author explained the burglaries and how Lexanne discovered evidence of who the real cat burglar was.
The chemistry of the main characters is what kept me reading even though some of Lexanne’s choices as a detective irritated me a few times. A fun read full of secrets and sex.
