MY REVIEW
Who couldn’t resist a romance novel with Casanova in the title? The setting is Venice, the characters are looking for love, and there is a stalker ready to pounce.
Ellie Murphy is in Venice to teach English at a private school, but she is not your typical schoolmarm. She dreams of a faceless lover who can satisfy her in many ways. More mature than many women her age, she is comfortable with her body as she agrees to pose nude for the Italian painter Mimmo Rossi while her new love interest, Piero, looks on.
Professor Piero Contarini works at Ellie’s school and asks for her assistance on his book about Casanova. He is Ellie’s fantasy come true as he picks up where Casanova left off focusing only on her pleasure.
The lovers meet in clandestine places acting out Casanova’s sexy stories and fall in love, but Ellie’s life is in danger by someone from Piero’s past.
Overall, this steamy novella set in Casanova’s city of love is a wonderful combination of romance, erotica, history, and a little suspense. If you would like to pick up a fun summer read that takes you on a romantic getaway, give this book a try.

Kate Zarrelli is the romance and erotica pen-name of Katherine Mezzacappa.
