Reawakened by Rachael Stewart
ABOUT THE BOOK
In the latest superhot tale from reader-favorite author Rachael Stewart, business owner Olivia Carmel is embracing her wild side, and PR expert Valentine Boretti has been hired to rein her in. But instead, Olivia is driving him wild…for her!
Seeing a client naked is no way to start a working relationship—especially when that client is stunningly sensual Olivia Carmel. When she invites me to watch her BDSM session in London’s most hedonistic sex club, she thinks I’m a stranger, not a PR expert sent to rein her in.
Watching Olivia awakens a hunger I can’t allow myself to feel. There’s no way I can work with her! But when she crashes her luxury car, I can’t sit on the sidelines and wait for her recklessness to turn fatal. She may kill me when she recognizes me…and when she learns a man sixteen years her junior has been hired to curtail her bad behavior.
I’m here to reawaken Olivia’s careful, rational nature. But instead she’s reawakening my desire…showing me just how well we work together in and out of the bedroom. As we fulfill each other’s naughtiest fantasies, and share our deepest longings, I realize I’m feeling more for my wayward client than lust. But can I convince Olivia to take a chance on love?
Rachael Stewart is one of my go-to authors who writes hot, juicy romances with strong, confident characters. I’ve read my share of older women, younger men tropes that didn’t quite hit the mark, but this one works well with a tenacious woman and a confident man who slowly unleashes his alpha with some fierce coaxing. Olivia does a stellar job seducing the tame and conservative Valentine, and when she cracks his control, it’s a delight to see him open up and come into his element.
I’ve lived my entire life confined by another. Before Nathan, it was my father, wanting to put me in a certain box and keep me there. And I’m not going back to those days. I’m living for me now and nothing and no one will change that.
Olivia Carmel doesn’t like being manipulated and controlled especially by a young, enthusiastic, sexy PR professional who rejected her at her most vulnerable. She had enough freedom taken away from her by her deceased husband and just wants to be herself and try new things. She stepped down from their charity, but apparently, her wild antics are putting the charity at risk. Hence, Valentine Boretti, the PR expert who has been hired to “fix her”. No one controls her life. Not for anyone–or anything–else. But she never expected her intense feelings for him which make her uncomfortable. What created this tamer more conservative man?
She’s dragged me right out of the darkness and shown me the fun that can be had when you just let go again. Stop fearing the what-ifs.
Valentine Boretti was wild and reckless in his younger years. The life of the party. He was trouble with a capital T. Until the car accident four years ago when his wife was killed and his guilt made him a different man. So when he is hired to work with Olivia’s PR image, he sees her recklessness triggered by the loss of her husband. What he doesn’t expect is falling in love with the vibrant and beautiful independent woman with a penchant for fast cars and a zest for life. If only he could convince her that they are made for each other.
Olivia is sexy, confident and lonely. Her crazy and dangerous escapades are a bad trigger for Valentine and his unreasonable guilt over his wife’s death. But he is willing to live with that because he doesn’t want to control or change her. His honest and heartfelt confession of love for her made my knees weak. However, Olivia backs off feeling their future would not work with the substantial age gap and the thought of taking away his chance of having children. The sexual tension is mesmerizing, the emotions are heartbreaking and impulsive, and watching Olivia and Valentine’s relationship develop from just sex to companionship and mutual affection is thrilling and oh, so rewarding. If ever there were a couple who deserved each other, it’s these two.
From the hot opening scene in a sex club, to the HEA ending, I couldn’t put down this captivating and sensual story. It makes me want to live my life with abandon and start checking off my less extreme bucket list. Recommend highly!
Thank you to Ms. Stewart once again for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Rachael Stewart adores conjuring up stories for the readers of Harlequin Mills & Boon and Deep Desires Press, with tales varying from the heartwarmingly romantic to the wildly erotic.
She’s been writing since she could put pen to paper as the stacks of scrawled on A4 sheets in her loft will attest to, and the lovingly bound short stories that her father would run off at work and proudly share out with his colleagues. Thinking it was a pipe dream to be published one day, she pursued a sensible career in business but she was really play-acting, achieving the appropriate degree and spending many years in the corporate world where she never truly belonged. Always happiest when she was sat at her laptop in the quiet hours tapping out a story or two. And so here she is, a published author, her full-time pleasure, a dream come true.
A Welsh lass at heart, she now lives in Yorkshire with her husband and three children, and if she’s not glued to her laptop, she’s wrapped up in them or enjoying the great outdoors seeking out inspiration.
