MY REVIEW

This is my first Adriana Locke novel which had me hooked when Gabrielle landed naked in the flower bed. Love is messy, complicated, and sometimes downright scary, but when you find that person who makes you feel seen and cherished, it’s all worth it in the end.

Meet Gabrielle and Jay. Let me tell you, they’ll totally steal your heart. Their chemistry? Sizzling hot! But it’s not just a fast-paced romance. The slow burn between them is where all the magic happens. The tension simmers beautifully until it’s finally ready to explode, and when it does, oh boy, it’s pure heaven!

Gabrielle truly amazed me throughout the story. Her sweetness, sass, and courage make her a character you can’t help but root for. And let’s not forget about Jay, the swoon-worthy book boyfriend! He’s everything you want in an alpha male, but with that perfect side of vulnerability that makes him all the more irresistible. Yummy!

What’s beautiful about Gabrielle and Jay is that they didn’t rush to passion; they built an unlikely friendship first. They both needed healing. Gabrielle found strength in helping Jay confront his struggles, while Jay’s journey back to her helped break down the barriers that Gabrielle had built around her heart.

In addition, Gabrielle’s boys are such a big part of the story; from their happy and angsty interactions with their mom to their sweet and unpredictable introduction to Jay.

If you’re on the hunt for a book filled with spice, humor, and everything in between, look no further. Trust me, my heart was not prepared for the rollercoaster of emotions this story brought!
