MY REVIEW

I couldn’t wait to read Luca and Siobhan’s story and it did not disappoint! Two star-crossed lovers are unwillingly trapped in a brutal family feud between the Italian DeVitas and Morettis versus the Irish Shaughnesseys. Trust me, this isn’t just a love story, it’s a heart-pounding saga of vengeance, intrigue, and all the delicious tension you can handle.

Luca Moretti is a complex character born into tragedy. Losing his mother at birth and enduring the murder of his father at just six years old, he grows up with a vendetta against those who wronged his family. Enter Siobhan Shaughnessey who he believes is his misguided path to revenge. They once had a close connection, but her betrayal leads him to a fit of rage. He kidnaps her, convinced she’s nothing more than a traitor. And just like that, the stakes have been raised.

Siobhan has her own painful history, having experienced grievous events at a young age that leave her fiercely independent and mistrustful. It’s this emotional backstory that makes her character relatable and grounded as she fights against becoming a tool in their families’ deadly game.

But that’s not all. The plot adds an intriguing layer. Luca is a blood demon. Think vampire with morals. Yep, you read that right! This book throws in some paranormal elements that ramp up the tension and keep you on the edge of your seat.

The chemistry between Luca and Siobhan is electric, and every twist and turn kept me captivated. It’s a tale of fierce hearts and complicated lives that you won’t want to miss! Seriously, if you haven’t grabbed this book yet, what are you waiting for? In fact, try the whole series. You won’t be disappointed.
