ABOUT THE BOOK
Once a Marine, always a Marine.
Luke Stratton has avoided his feelings for Hazel Burke most of his adult life, protecting and supporting her from afar. As the leader of an elite team of Marine Raiders, he knew that keeping Hazel safe meant staying away. Luke kept his focus on his missions until he was forced to retire after an operation went devastatingly wrong.
Sometimes our darkest fears prevent us from living a whole life. Sometimes they come true.
When Hazel’s sister’s life is threatened, Luke is her first and only call. Little did she know, that call would spark old emotions, ignite new desires, and pull her into a perilous international plot. Luke may have left the Marines, but he didn’t give up his life of danger and intrigue. When threats lurk behind every door, Luke and Hazel will have to decide whether love is greater than fear.
Only Ever You is an adult romantic suspense for fans of strong women, swoony heroes, and the mysteries that bring them together. Only Ever You is part of Titan Group series, a collection of interconnected standalones that each feature an HEA.

MY REVIEW
This story immediately threw me into the action, suspense, and romance that had my heart pounding from start to finish.
Luke is a retired Marine who’s busy rallying his fellow veterans to form the Titan Group, and Hazel is a food journalist who finds her sister in deep trouble and turns to Luke for help.
I would definitely want Marine Raider Luke Stratton on my side when things go haywire. To me, he is the standout character with his strength and loyalty radiating off the pages. He’s dealing with the transition from military life to civilian life while trying to establish this operations team, and you get a sense of the camaraderie he shares with his fellow veterans. This band of brothers and sisters is bonded by more than just their service; they’re family. The smart and loving family that tells Luke to get his head out of his ass and do what’s right with Hazel. Oorah!
Hazel is the “one who got away.” When she reaches out to Luke in her moment of need, it reignites all those old feelings between them as they grew up together. The chemistry is sizzling. Watching their characters develop as we peel back the layers on their childhoods and the friendship they cultivated over the years gave me that “will they, won’t they” vibe that kept me flipping the pages.
But this book is more than a love story. It had me on the edge of my seat with its non-stop action, clever plot twists, and that electric tension between Luke and Hazel. You can practically feel the weight of their history and deeper feelings as Luke has to grapple with the reality that his career could jeopardize their chance at a happily-ever-after.
The large number of characters introduced made me pause and think, but honestly, it didn’t take away from my enjoyment overall. The thrilling moments combined with the emotional depth of Luke and Hazel’s relationship made it all worth it.
If you’re all about rugged heroes, action and adventure, and an electrifying romance that could give Hollywood a run for their money, then you’ll definitely want to check this one out.
Thank you to Ms. Cole for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.
