MY REVIEW
This is a very dark romance between a ruthless killer and his obsession over the beautiful and lonely daughter of his enemy. Think 50 shades times ten…
Carter is the brooding leader and eldest of the Cross brothers. With the help of his brothers, he’s built a drug empire. He’s not a nice man. He’s not afraid of death. He’s obsessed with Aria Talvery, his savior. And he will make her his by any means possible.
Aria is frightened and yet, attracted to her handsome and dangerous captor. He’s determined to make her submit. She will not be his whore. She will not lose herself. It’s too late.
The interactions between Carter and Aria are extremely potent and at first hard to watch, but Carter’s shocking confessions, and Aria’s lonely existence are heartbreaking and powerful to experience. They are broken human beings raised in a merciless and callous world with only one ending in sight. As for the other Cross brothers, I can’t wait to read their own stories, but first, I MUST finish Carter and Aria’s story which continues in Book 2.
Again, I have been shrewdly lured into another formidable dark romance which has left me breathless and eager to read more to discover what happens between the two main characters. If you enjoy dark romances with forbidding males and strong females, give this book a try.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read smut and I read EVERYTHING. I would read a book a day — sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. And I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?
I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It’s insane to me that I have so many fans. And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I’ll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my two littles (Jax who’s two and a half and Evie who just turned one!) during the day and I write at night. Some days are just simply exhausting and then I hear from a fan and it makes me want to push through and keep writing. And I do. I promise I won’t stop!
