ABOUT THE BOOK
Holly Saint and Christian Lane grew up together and were best friends until he fell in love with someone else. Now, years later they find themselves stranded—both trying to get back to their hometown for Christmas, that’s if Jack Frost will allow them.
This book is a new sexy take on Trains, Planes, and Automobiles; think variations on the mile-high club.
She was his best friend; he was the love of her life. Then he found another and she left. Twelve years later, they see each other in an airport. He’s desperate to catch up; she’s desperate to get away. However, the Winter Storm of the Century is in full swing and circumstances dictate they work together to get home. Can they be friends again, or will it be much more?
Christian is a lawyer and a divorcee who is heading home for the holidays. When he spots Holly in the airport after 12 long years, he wants to know why she left without a word and he also wants to pursue a friendship or more with her. He has his work cut out for him because all those years ago he chose his girlfriend over Holly and left her hanging. Not to mention that Christian’s girlfriend, and later his now ex-wife, was Holly’s nemesis who bullied her, pushing her further away from Christian. Add in the fact that Holly had loved Christian for many years. When she left her home, she left all her memories of him as well. When Holly tells him the truth, he vows to do whatever he could to be the man that Holly deserved.
Unrequited love happens to many people at some point during their lives. The tables are turned as Christian wants a future and Holly is doubtful. After all, he broke her heart once and she didn’t want it to happen again. Holly is a single, successful published photographer. Her self-confidence and insatiable appetite are fun traits as she takes charge with Christian during their quest to get home. The airplane scene is hot, hot, hot! Christian is charming and determined to prove to Holly that they would be good together. He had friendzoned Holly in high school because he thought she didn’t feel the same so he made a mistake and found someone else. It’s time to make up for the time they missed and boy, do they!
I’m a big fan of unrequited love and watching a man woo his way back into the heart of the woman he hurt. The characters are funny and captivating and the plot is intriguing as they travel together and fall in love all over again.
