E-Gods and Goddesses! I have always loved a dark retelling, and it’s even better when it comes from one of my favorite authors. Combining betrayal, power, and obsession, Ms. Winters gives a new take on the mythological tale of the fierce and tortured Hades, King of Death, and the innocent and resilient Persephone, Goddess of Life. Their romance has a dark edge and pulls you into the mysterious and chaotic Underworld with every twist and turn.
Hades—oh my god! His obsession with Persephone is both intense and ridiculously entertaining. He’s a god for crying out loud, but he’s got this deep yearning for her light amidst his dark, brooding nature. And let’s not forget Persephone, who is so torn between her own blossoming powers and Hades’s compelling dark desires. Their dynamic? It’s electric and something you don’t want to miss.
It’s intriguing to see how Persephone wrestles with what the world expects of her and what she wants. And Hades is not just a brooding god lurking in the shadows; he has plans for her! He wants her to rule the Underworld by his side as his Queen. He wants her at any cost, which will destroy the world around them.
This retelling dives deep into the struggle between light and dark. I found myself rooting for this unlikely couple, hoping they find a balance where they can coexist. The writing by Willow Winters is alluring and provocative, weaving a tapestry of passion and mystery that’s impossible to put down. However, there’s a catch, folks. I have been cliffhangered again and will have to wait to find out their destiny.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I started writing after having my little girl, Evie, December of 2015. All during my pregnancy with her I read. I only wanted to read romance novels and I read everything I could get my hands on. I would read a book a day — sometimes two. In January I was staying up late with her and just thinking of all these stories. They came to me constantly. I finally sat down and just started writing. I always wanted to do it so I figured, why not?
I never thought I would reach this point of success to be honest. It’s insane to me that I have connected with so many readers.
And I love each and every one of them for all of their support. I’ll be honest, some days are HARD. I have my littles during the day and I write at night. Some days are just simply exhausting and then I hear from a reader and it motivates me to push through and keep writing. I couldn’t be more grateful for this wonderful career.
