Holy cow! I’m hooked! For the Show‘s love, laughter, and spice are superb, and I fell head over heels for Ezra and Millie.
Millie Greer is a bisexual actress and bartender who brings some seriously steamy stories to life on a super cool audio app. But lately, she’s lost her mojo because a nasty director decided it was his mission to body-shame her. As if that wasn’t enough to pull her down, her girlfriend turned out to be a total two-timer, also seeing Millie’s one-night stand, Ezra!
But here’s where it gets even wilder. When Ezra reaches out, asking her to pretend to be his wife in Hawaii (yes, you heard that right), she’s reluctantly on board. He’s got some family drama with his sperm donor, and Millie wants to escape the chaos. Little did she know that hopping on a fake marriage train would lead her straight into the feels.
What’s really great about Millie, and honestly, what’s refreshing, is her wicked sense of humor. She can make you laugh while spilling her guts about her life. Watching her and Ezra navigate the fake relationship and build trust is terrific to watch. She deserves all the happiness (and some steamy romance) that Ezra and others provide!
Okay… where has Ezra Miller been all my life? The man is fine, and he can sleep naked in my bed anytime. He’s an all-around great guy with a Dom vibe! He’s a middle school teacher, a natural caretaker, funny, compassionate, thoughtful, and…wait for it… he gives nipplegasms. Uh, huh, ladies. He is a sexy, hot cinnamon roll of a man who loves Millie so much that it hurts my heart. Swoon!!!!!!!
Ms. Van Brunt’s writing is remarkable. It’s refreshing to encounter an author who tackles relatable topics like mental health and body dysmorphia with grace and authenticity.
This charming story is fun, wicked naughty, and packed with memorable lessons that will stay with you. I look forward to reading more by this author!
