MY REVIEW
If you’re looking for a laugh-out-loud read that also has those heart-melting moments, let me tell you it just doesn’t get better than this book. It has all the charm of a rom-com with an added sprinkle of sweetness that will make you swoon.
Rory, is honestly just delicious. He’s a broody guy with the physique of a Norse god who has a heart of gold but doesn’t want anyone to know it. He’s all set to enjoy his peace and quiet in his secluded cabin in Kinloch, but then—dun dun dun—there’s an annoyingly beautiful redhead already living there. And the games begin…
Zoe is everything I adore in a protagonist—quirky, fun, and unafraid of hard work. As an accountant fresh out of city life and seeking a change after her great-uncle Willie’s passing, she finds herself in the most unexpected of situations. The banter between her and Rory is absolutely priceless and the chemistry is off the charts. Their stubbornness is equally infuriating and delightful, and one can’t help but root for them, hoping they’ll finally embrace their undeniable attraction.
Evie Alexander is a must read for me. The way she weaves humor and romance together is nothing short of magical. I found myself laughing out loud at their antics and feeling those tear-jerking moments that make you reflect on relationships and belonging.
This book is a perfect escape into a world where love knows no boundaries, and laughter is always around the corner. I’m eagerly looking forward to diving into the rest of The Kinloch Series!
