Holy kink, Batman! I have to tell you, this month has been an absolute game-changer for me in the reading department. Seriously, I can’t believe I’ve just discovered this incredible author who has me flipping pages like crazy! How have I not stumbled upon her work until now?! The plot was not just engaging; it was downright gripping and had the perfect blend of murder, suspense, and chemistry that kept my heart racing.
Meet Inara, a detective with a complicated past and a strong sense of justice, trying to juggle her job fighting crime while battling her own demons. Her world takes a wild turn when she crosses paths with Rex Roy, an enigmatic billionaire. Little does she know, Rex has been monitoring her every move for quite some time. The tension between her and Rex is electric, but it thickens when Rex’s obsession with Inara and his own pursuit of justice spirals into dangerous territory. Just when you think it’s going to be a classic romance, things get real messy and dark!
The suspense in this story is absolutely gripping! Savino masterfully blends dark themes with tantalizing magnetic pull between Inara and Rex. It’s a dangerous dance of submission and control that keeps you glued to the page. Not to mention there is a kinky Batman theme going on that had me totally captivated!
The cliffhanger at the end of the book left me breathless and yearning for more. Just when you think Inara’s safety is guaranteed, another threat lurks in the shadows. What happens next? You’ll have to read to find out, because trust me, you won’t want to miss the continuation of this tantalizing saga.
In conclusion, if you love dark romance with a hefty dose of suspense and riveting characters, Lee Savino’s latest novel is a must-read. I am on the edge of my seat for book two!
