Holy Hotness!! The snark, the tension, the possessiveness, oh my! I couldn’t put this book down. It’s an impossible match filled with revenge.
Cash Savage is a walking red flag. Just his name screams intensity. He’s that guy who straddles the line between alluring and downright dangerous. Possessive? Oh, you bet. Morally grey? Absolutely. Hot? Without a doubt! He’s got this magnetic energy that pulls you right in and keeps you hooked. You can’t help but wonder what he’ll do next, and trust me, his actions are never boring. I have to say the Daddy kink theme was a bit cringeworthy to me, but to each their own.
I absolutely loved Jordyn Kingston! This girl is feisty, brave, and brings a perfect counterbalance to Cash’s unhinged persona. Who wouldn’t be furious being kidnapped and held responsible for her asshole father’s actions? I could practically feel the sparks jumping off the page when she let Cash have it. Their banter is deliciously sharp where it makes you giggle and keeps you flipping pages, eager to see how each will get under the other’s skin before they give in.
What I loved most about this story is how Jordyn wins over the Savage household. Seriously, watching them all fall for her charm is adorable and downright hilarious. And Cash’s jealousy is palpable and adds so much heat to the story. You get the sense that both of them are battling their own demons while also trying to understand each other in this crazy situation. The way they challenge one another adds layers to their characters that are just so satisfying to read.
If you’re looking for a story that is wonderfully chaotic and leaves you wanting more, give this book a try! I’m excited to read more by this author.
