MY REVIEW
Amelia is in love with her boss, Brody Evans, NFL quarterback, and father of a wonderful little girl named Lily. However, Brody has trust issues because his wife who was killed in a car accident a year ago was having an affair with his teammate. When Amelia decides to give in to Brody’s charms, she begins to have doubts about his feelings and though it it is breaking her heart, she is considering accepting the new internship that is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Will Brody make the right choice?
I enjoy romances where there is love on one side and the other partner takes time to come around realizing the wonderful person that has been there for them the whole time. There were times I wanted to slap Brody for the things he said to Amelia, but his grand gesture makes up for his denseness. There is also a sweet family dynamic thrown in with Brody’s adorable daughter, Lily.
A charming and sexy sports romance that is steamy and sweet at the same time. Another great summer read!
