MY REVIEW

This is my first RC Boldt book and it certainly won’t be my last. It’s a thrilling romantic suspense told in dual POVs and seamlessly jumps from past to present.

Dr. Liam King is a tormented doctor who finds a severely injured woman washed ashore. As he nurses the mysterious woman back to health he finds that she has lost her memory. The longer she stays with him, the more intrigued and attracted he is with her as he helps her remember her past. But he can’t have a future with her because of his past.

I can’t go into the details of the story without giving the best parts away. You need to go into this book blind so you can enjoy every second. I couldn’t put this book down.

Neither Liam nor Alex are what they seem. The author does a great job hiding their secrets until all is shockingly revealed. As time goes by, Alex remembers snippets of her life as she falls for the handsome and gruff doctor who saved her life. The awareness and heat these two have are intense but drawn out a bit too long before the real action starts. Once it gets going, the twists and turns are fast and furious as these two lovers discover each other’s dark secrets that will seal their fate.

If you love uncovering deep dark secrets and watching badass characters fall apart in each other’s arms, give this book a try. It won’t disappoint.
