ABOUT THE BOOK
Life is full of highs and lows, but it’s who helps us through that counts.
Stumbling across her teenage diaries in her childhood home, Charlie is instantly transported to the 1990s.
Charlie relives all the emotions and feelings as memories come flooding back, from first kiss to first love and everything in between.
Back in the present and Charlie discovers that even in the darkest of times, light and laughter can ALWAYS be found.
A heartfelt journey through life, from teenage angst to the trials and tribulations of adulthood. Family love, friendship and romance weave throughout but who will love you, always, forever?
Charlie Dean gives us a poignant coming-of-age nostalgic story about family, friends, and forever love.
Charlie is coming back home with trepidation and anxiety while waiting for news that will change her family forever. While passing the time she finds her old diaries that take her back to those days spent with old friends and new loves.
The book jumps from past to present. Charlie takes the reader on her teenage journey with all the growing pains and happy first times to her present day as a responsible adult. There were many instances in Charlie’s life that reminded me of events that happened to me which gave it more substance. The book is thoughtfully written with genuine emotions and I was captivated to find out what was in store for Charlie.
Thank you to Ms. Dean for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.
