MY REVIEW
Samantha is a romance writer, but she’s not a romantic. However, she quickly realizes that Kingston “King” Coltraine is changing her mind …one spanking at a time.
Well-written erotic romantic suspense novels are hard to find, and I liked this one. The author focuses on the romance between the bratty submissive Samantha, who is being stalked, and the possessive Dom King, determined to keep her safe. The chemistry is over the top and quick, but it adds to the appeal. The secondary plot is about finding out who the stalker is, and though the result is a little confusing, the suspense and danger leading up to the reveal kept my attention.
King is a fantastic alpha hero who is very protective of Samantha. I love how he keeps her impulsive behavior under wraps with a growl or a firm hand and feeds her dinner while she sits on his lap. Yum! Samantha is strong and sassy. She’s vulnerable with the whole stalker thing and for the first time in her life feels respected and safe with the sexy hot King keeping her close and out of danger.
With this book, you’ll get a tough and possessive hero primed for sex and battle paired with a beautiful, sassy blonde in need of protection. It’s a great start to a great series, and I can’t wait to read more.
