MY REVIEW

I am thrilled to be part of Grey’s Promotions Book Blitz for Doctor Mistake, Book 2 in the Boston’s Billionaire Bachelor’s series. I first met the Abbot-Fritz clan in Doctor Scandalous which is Oliver and Amelia’s story. Ms. Saman does it again with her refreshing writing filled with a well-researched portrayal of OB-GYNs and their exhausting schedules. Carter and Grace have grit and stamina as they work toward the final goal of finally finding the one they are meant to be with.

Dr. Carter Fritz is the mysterious and stoic brother of the family of doctors. He is a tough mentor to his residents including long-time family friend and best friend to his brother Oliver, Dr. Grace Hammond. The moment she returned to Boston and started working for him, he couldn’t catch his breath. She’s smart and driven and she’s the one he wants. Patience be damned.

Dr. Grace Hammond is devastated by her fiance’s betrayal and loses her confidence and trust in herself to find someone who truly loves her. Enter the gorgeous and kind, Carter Fritz. The brother of her best friend and her boss is letting her stay with him until she finds her balance again. Perhaps a fling with Carter is what she needs to boost her confidence. But living with this sexy man who is giving her mixed signals is playing havoc on her heart as she falls under his spell. 

Carter is just so yummy. He’s charming, sexy, protective, and oh, so in love with Grace. He’s also a very determined man and will stop at nothing to win the girl. His slow seduction is delicious and holds a few bumps and twists along the way, but with good advice from his brothers, he makes everything right. Grace is a strong woman who loves her career and when things get hot and heavy with Carter, she’s concerned their professional life may be harmed. But Carter has her back with his vow to keep her safe and to let her take back control in her life. These two lovebirds are scrappy at work and make love when they get home while trying to keep their relationship a secret which doesn’t quite go according to plan. It’s a book I couldn’t put down as a cheered for this lovely couple to just say those three little words.

Of course, the Abbot-Fritz family members are a wonderful addition to this series. Oliver is such a great best friend to Grace and I love the part where he finally lets go of being the man in her life and gives that role to his brother Carter. Masterfully done.

I recommend this delightfully charming story about unrequited forbidden love. The writing is skilled and well-versed in medical lingo and the characters are delectable, appealing, and very genuine as they face some personal battles with unconditional support from their family. I can’t wait to read more in this series.
