ABOUT THE BOOK
Running out on my wedding and throwing myself onto his car to get away from my cheating ex is not how I thought I’d see Kaplan Fritz again.
Which is probably why I didn’t recognize him until I ran into his mother shortly after. A hell of a morning and a bottle of champagne later and I’m accepting a job I likely shouldn’t–working for his family’s foundation as their new executive assistant.
Now I’m in a new city, living a new life, determined that this will be the start of a new me, while foolishly assuming I’ll never have to see Kaplan again. Wrong.
Sitting high up on his throne, Doctor Untouchable with his boyishly handsome face, piercing green eyes, and jawline that could sharpen a knife can make a girl blush and her panties melt just by walking past her. Everyone wants a piece of Boston’s last eligible billionaire bachelor. I simply want to forget he ever existed to me.
Especially when it turns out he’s nothing like the man I remember. Cold, aggravatingly closed off, and infuriatingly cocky, his sexy smirk grates on my every nerve. The pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon has no time or patience for me, his lowly assistant trying to help him run his family’s foundation that he’s now the CEO of.
Every encounter we have grows more and more heated. Every fiery exchange a twisted form of foreplay. Which is why I’m determined he never discover the truth about me. But what happens when my cover is blown and he realizes that the curvy girl he loves to fight with is the same one from his past?

Bravo to Ms. Saman on her conclusion to the Boston’s Billionaire Brothers series! It’s a challenging feat to make each sibling’s book more interesting than the next, but the author enthralled me with Kaplan’s and Bianca’s second chance, grumpy, sunshine love story. I’m sad to see one of my favorite series ending. 🙁
Dr. Kaplan Abbot-Fritz is a notable pediatric cardiothoracic surgeon, the eldest son of Boston’s most prestigious family, the heir to the Abbot Foundation, a billionaire bachelor, a loner, and uncharacteristically, a sucker for a runaway bride. When the unforgettable bride, Bianca “Bunny” Barlow, flagged him down to save her from a cheating fiance and a backstabbing relative, he dropped the intriguing woman off at her hotel and never expected to see her again. Until his smart and dedicated mother hires Bianca to be his assistant for the foundation she has just handed over to him at her retirement. Can he trust Bianca or is this just a coincidence?
Bianca’s self-esteem is destroyed when she finds out her fiance is cheating on her with her cousin and she is in a car with a stranger confessing all of her problems while wearing a freakin’ vulgar wedding dress chosen by her insensitive mother to hide the curves Bianca was always proud of. What is she to do now in a strange city? She has no job, no home, and no future. Bianca’s trust fund allows her to live comfortably, but Bianca wants to use her college degree, and when Octavia Abbot-Fritz, CEO of the Abbot Foundation surprisingly offers her a job while Bianca is cleaning herself up in the hotel public restroom. Could it be too good to be true? It appears so when Bianca finds her angry boss is none other than Dr. Kaplan Abbot-Fritz, the man who saved her from the wedding from hell, and the man she connected with years ago who ghosted her when she needed him the most. Watch the verbal games begin.
I loved, loved, loved, Bianca and Kaplan. Watching the sexy, grumpy loner fall for the bold and beguiling “Curves for Days” (Kaplan’s nickname for her) is fascinating and so romantic. Kaplan’s mistrust of Bianca is understandable considering the many golddiggers who have done everything to get hold of his money and prestige. But he can’t control his attraction to the brave, hardworking, confident, mouthy young woman who captured his heart so many years ago. Kaplan’s love for his family is lovely and he pleasantly surprised me with his protectiveness of Bianca. In addition, his control in the bedroom is yummy. The verbal sparring between them starts out with Kaplan trying to get rid of her to Kaplan making sexy innuendos that had me wishing I was Bianca. Enemies to lovers anyone? Yes!!!!
Bianca is truly my hero. She is a voluptuous woman who loves her body and is not afraid to enhance it with grace and sexy shoes. However, living with a mother that wants her daughter to be perfect has gotten into Bianca’s psyche which convinces her that there is no way Kaplan would be interested in her. After all, he always dated thin model-like beautiful women. The kicker is that Bianca and Kaplan have known each other for years due to a tragic event in their lives. Bianca knows, but it takes some time for Kaplan to figure it out. I don’t want to say any more than that because it is an important addition to the story that you need to experience on your own.
As I have said before, the Abbot-Fritz family is wonderful with their unconditional love and support. Kaplan’s mother, Octavia, is cunning and knows her children so well. Kaplan’s brothers and sisters-in-law are funny and it’s funny when they all know Kaplan’s a goner before he does.
Pick up this book…even better pick up the series, you won’t regret it!
