MY REVIEW

Gluttony is the second installment in the Seven Princes of Sin series. As someone who enjoyed the first book, Lust, I was excited to read Leo and Carrie’s story.

In this book, we follow Leo, the most chill of the Seven Princes, as he tries to help Carrie, a woman he rescued from the grips of drug addiction and prostitution. Leo claims Carrie as his fated mate, but it takes a lot of convincing on his part to win her over. These two characters who are vastly different from each other seem to be a perfect match.

Leo Gluttony is a man with a voracious appetite for all-you-can-eat buffets and Carrie, the wife of his worst enemy and an addict who has hit rock bottom. He’s normally understanding with a good sense of humor, but we see his beastly side which is intense and possessive. He is a bit of an ass at times as he helps Carrie dry out, but with time he eventually shows her his kinder, protective, and playful side.

Carrie’s story is not so pretty as she learns some hard lessons, not all of which are her fault. After she betrays her best friend, Donna who is with Leo’s brother Adam Lust, Carrie has to face the Seven Princes with Leo vowing to choose her over his brothers. In the end, she discovers her inner strength and gives the word payback a new meaning.

Adam and Donna, the stars of the first book, do make an appearance in Gluttony and we get to see more of the Seven Princes, with a couple of them making supporting appearances throughout the book. Each of the brothers is fascinating in their own way, and the author does an excellent job of giving each of them the attention they deserve.

This dark and intense storyline will keep you hooked from beginning to end, and the characters are well-developed and intriguing. Just be sure to heed the trigger warnings before diving in. On to book three for me!
