Greed (Seven Princes of Sin #4) by S.N. Hunt

Left homeless and penniless after her husband’s death, Isabel faces more bad luck. Her apartment complex is scheduled to be demolished in ninety short days. She has only one place left to turn to: Club Greed. With a hopeful heart and a mother’s determination, she must face her fears and seek the help of a Prince of Sin.

Corvus aches to find his mate, but he never thought she would walk right into his club. Despite his beast’s insistent pestering to lock her up, he offers her a deal of a lifetime, one where they both will benefit. He needs to gain her trust and wash away the uncertainty that lingers in her gaze. But that won’t be easy with two young boys underfoot.

MY REVIEW

Book four in the Seven Princes of Sin series is my favorite so far. Corvus is more mature and compassionate than his overzealous demon brothers as he rescues a homeless single mother and her two boys.

Isabel is a penniless, hardworking mother and widow determined to keep her sons safe, but she’s lost one job and now her home. Desperation sends her to Club Greed and Corvus, a Prince of Sin, to ask for a loan, and she walks away with a new job and a roof over her head. But at what price?

Corvus admires Isabel’s honesty and appreciates her reticence to just take him at his word. His patience is commendable. He’s not pushy in a sexual way like his brothers with their mates though his inner beast frequently wants to come out and play. He truly wants a mature relationship with her and her boys and makes sure they have everything they deserve. Isabel is leery of Corvus at first, but he melts her heart winning over her rebellious teenage son, Brandon, and forming a bond with little Will, her eight year old with an old soul. I praise Isabel’s fortitude and independence in a world determined to beat her down. Finally a genuine voluptuous woman with a mom bod and not the super thin model type. She finds beauty in the littlest things which is understandable considering her immortal persona.

This series is complex and I suggest you begin reading from book 1 to better understand the compelling back story. The forces of evil are not all black and white as the Princes of Sin make their fortunes, wrestle with their inner beasts, and protect what is theirs.

I highly recommend this spicy paranormal romance with likeable characters and intriguing plot twists.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

S. N. Hunt loves to read and write all about fantasy and romance.  She wrote her first story when she was in her twenties.  Then her computer crashed.  At the time she took it as a sign and quit writing.  Now fifteen years later, the story wouldn’t leave her alone.  Thus her first self published book The Elementalist: Journey to Zlorta was born.  When she is not writing or reading, she is spending time with her hubby and furbabies.  She enjoys camping in the summertime and fishing til the sun goes down.  She loves cooking, baking, and of course eating.  Family is very important to her and she thanks God everyday for the support they have given her.
