My first Rosie Sloane short novel is an eye-opener as love and growth are navigated into a startling erotic romance.
Lyn’s been having a tough time dealing with some challenging personal stuff that’s left her feeling alone and lost. But then Lars pops back into her life with a job offer to be a nanny for his new charge, Sammy. It turns out this isn’t just about the job for Lars. He’s hoping this could be his shot at a second chance with Lyn and winning her back for good.
The book explores an intriguing mix of erotic themes and deep personal growth for Lyn and Lars. Lyn has had a tough time voicing her desires in the past, but now, even though she’s moving a bit quickly after her breakup, she’s eager to dive into a committed, submissive relationship. Lars, who has extreme controlling tendencies, surprisingly plays a great father role to Sammy and genuinely wants to reconnect emotionally with Lyn. While his need for control can be cringe-worthy–especially his manipulation of Lyn’s life–their kinks and mutual understanding help them find happiness together.
This short romance dives into the world of BDSM, exploring rekindled love through open communication and clear boundaries. It might stir your thoughts, but be warned—there are plenty of trigger warnings, so read it with caution!
